A Festival Rooted in Culture and Community
With over 5,00 young people engaged across our East African network, SKILLZ remains a platform that empowers dancers through competition, education, and collaboration. This year’s theme, “dance in space,” transformed the floor, lounge, and party zones into immersive artistic environments that elevated the festival experience.
Workshops led by regional dance leaders, peer-to-peer exchanges, and community conversations strengthened the dance ecosystem and inspired the next generation.
Looking Ahead: SKILLZ @ 10 (2026)
As we prepare for the tenth anniversary of SKILLZ, we remain committed to:
Developing regional dance pathways
Expanding creative learning programs
Strengthening partnerships
Creating sustainable platforms for artists
To every dancer, partner, crew member, and supporter — thank you for making SKILLZ a movement, not just an event.
Stay connected for updates as we begin the journey toward SKILLZ @ 10.
