Welcome to Skillz Dance Festival, East Africa’s premier celebration of dance, culture, and creativity! Whether you are a guest, media partner, vendor, or facilitator, this kit provides the essential information to guide your festival experience.

1) Festival Media Pass

Skillz Dance Festival welcomes media professionals who wish to cover the event.

Media Pass Benefits:
   •    Access to all festival grounds and performance areas.
   •    Behind-the-scenes opportunities with artists and crews.
   •    Reserved seating in press zones.
   •    Access to festival press materials, photos, and PR contacts.

Requirements:
   •    Submit a request for a media pass via skillzea.connect@gmail.com
   •    Provide your media ID or company accreditation.
   •    Media passes must be worn visibly at all times.

🎥 Note: Live streaming or professional filming requires prior approval from the festival media team.

2) Vendor Stalls (Food and Drinks)

We believe dance is best experienced with great food and drink!

Vendor Opportunities:
   •    Stalls available for food trucks, beverage companies, and local food vendors.
   •    High-traffic festival zones with exposure to thousands of attendees.
   •    Vendors are encouraged to bring creative, youth-friendly menus.

Requirements:
   •    Vendors must be licensed and compliant with health & safety standards.
   •    Festival provides booth space  + basic power access.

3) Workshops Facilitators

Workshops are the heart of Skillz Dance Festival, where learning, exchange, and growth happen.

Workshop Format:
   •    Duration: 60–90 minutes per session.
   •    Styles: Hip Hop, Afro, Breaking, Krump, House, and cultural fusions.
   •    Open to dancers of all levels (beginner to advanced).

Facilitator Benefits:
   •    Platform to share your skills and connect with a diverse dance community.
   •    Exposure through festival media, social platforms, and official program.
   •    Access to all festival activities.

Facilitator Requirements:
   •    Submit workshop outline (style, content, duration).
   •    Provide a short bio + high-resolution photo.
   •    Be available for at least one rehearsal/briefing session before your workshop.

 Workshops are interactive and focus on both artistic development and community building.
